• The PGA Tour Will Merge With the LIV "Tour"

This is a surprise. The details of what the PGA will "look like" after a final deal had been made should be interesting: I hope they ditch that dumb "team concept" or whatever it can be called.

At least all the top players will be competing in the same, network-televised tournaments; that's the best aspect that could be produced from this.

I have it on authority that the PGA will control holes 1-8 and LIV will control holes 12 -18.

    The Saudis do 9-11.

    Chortle

The PGA should make the LIV pay their way to a merger, meaning: it's unfair that, say, Phil gets to keep his $200 million, and then go back to the PGA like nothing happened. So, LIV should have to give all the players who stayed with the PGA a billion
dollars to be split among all.the PGA Tour card-holding players (in the years sinceLIV began); about 120+ players?

Monahan will have a lot of pisse player/loyalists if he just let's all the gold-laden layabout, LiV "Tour" players "back in" like nothing happened. The PGA players will be thinking: "fuck! we ALL should have jumped, too!" What do WE get for being loyal
in support of the PGA Tour!?"

I disagree with that. Way too socialist. Those players who remained did precisely nothing to change the game. To those who take the risk, reap the spoils.

Yes, color them green with envy. That'll make some very entertaining friction on the tour(s). Perhaps, the PGA will be like the minor league and once you've won some majors, etc you get to go to the advance LIV league and only for majors or special
events do the LIV players share links with the PGA commoners.

What risk takers? They sold out for the guaranteed money. Phil hasn't had a top ten, yet gets $200 million.

The PGA Tour player misses the cut, and gets zero.

No different than the movies. Actors that can draw fans get the money. Phil has a personality and many followers and gets the big money. Same goes with Tiger....and Brooks has a personality that gets paid.

The PGA Tour player misses the cut, and gets zero.

Well, if they get themselves a personality and start getting that fan engagement score, they'll make some money anyways...and endorsements, too. Phil has made his share of cuts. He doesn't need to make cuts to draw fans. No different than what's been
going on for many y ears with various tournaments paying Tiger millions just to show up whether he makes the cut or not. Besides, somebody has to fund Phils gambling flyers.

Fuck the PGA and all the sponsors, they’re a sellout. All that talk about loyalty to those that died at 9-11 meant nothing. Follow the money to the Reporter Murdering Camel Fucker.

The PGA Tour is a nonprofit organization. LOL!

“Nothing like finding out through Twitter that we’re merging with a tour that we said we’d never do that with.” — Mackenzie Hughes, PGA Tour player.

“Very curious how many people knew this deal was happening. About 5-7 people? Player run organization right?” — Michael Kim, PGA Tour player.

“This is one of the saddest days in the history of professional golf. I do believe that the governing bodies, the entities, the professional entities, have sacrificed their principles for profits.” — Brandel Chamblee, a Golf Channel analyst who
has been sharply critical of the LIV Tour.

“Welfare check on Chamblee.” — LIV golfer Brooks Koepka, referring to Chamblee, who last week declared that “any yielding to or agreement with them is a deal with a murderous dictator.”

“Now that we’re all friends, is it too late for us to workshop some of these team names?” — Max Homa, PGA Tour player, referring to LIV teams like Crushers, Iron Heads and Majesticks.

This is a surprise. The details of what the PGA will "look like" after a final deal had been made should be interesting: I hope they ditch that dumb "team concept" or whatever it can be called.

At least all the top players will be competing in the same, network-televised tournaments; that's the best aspect that could be produced from this.

Oh, and notice how the LIV players' "off course" money appears to have dried-up when comparing the off-course money of the PGAs' players. It looks like the reports of sponsors dropping players who jumped-to LIV is for-real.

And, those sponsors will be right back when players finish on the board and their agent negotiates the player showing up to some company event.

What does the Koran say about golf? Of course it's a traditional arab game, invented by their superior culture -

No doubt Mohammed was a killer in the sand traps -

Wonder what the qualification-process will be for the LIV players wanting to return to the PGA.
    The Korn Ferry Tour?

Also, with the "equity deal," the "top layers" of the PGA loyalists could end-up making more money than the LIV players;.

It's pretty clear from the Forbes money list that the LIV players were greatly abandoned by their former PGA-playing-days' sponsors: especially Deshamblow. He may never regain any of his former sponsors with his dumb-assed, big mouth.

But it sure looks like the PGA is going to make LIV players "pay for their sins," at this point; and not a "slap on.the wrist."
