• The Petro Dollar

From Paul Popinjay@21:1/5 to All on Sun Jun 4 17:42:21 2023
Since the mid-70s, if you wanted oil, you essentially had to buy it with U.S. dollars. That is about to end. When it ends, the United States will be flooded with dollars returning home. What will that mean? Hyperinflation, that's what it will mean.
Say goodbye to the value of the U.S. Dollar. It will take a wheelbarrow of dollars to buy a McDonald's hamburger. When you come out of McDonald's with your hamburger, there will be a pile of dollars laying on the ground while someone stole your
    wheelbarrow.

You are theoretically correct, but you ignore a couple things that can drag the process out. My guess when it happens, it'll coincide with full on WW3 and some type of martial law which they can use to reset things in a different way, invalidate the
existing currency, and start over with fedcoin or whatever. And, they'll act like nothing has happened. You're only real way to prepare for this is with hard assets....and not just gold or silver....make sure you own anything you might need for some
years....food, cars, clothes, meds, etc. The true scope of this thing is unimaginable once you factor in all the quadrillions in derivatives and unfunded liabilities of our various govt agencies. This is way worse than worst case scenario. I think
they'll use every gimmick imaginable to delay the effects and then when that's over, they'll suddenly hit us with everything and blame it on Russia and China.

India makes a lot of meds and we're onshoring production again, but my guess is the ruling class thinks we're overpopulated and won't give a shit whether people on meds live or not.

Why go back that far. Currency in Venezuela is so worthless they just leave piles of it in the street. Argentina and Turkey are happening right now. In the history of mankind, fiat currency has been tried thousands of times and has failed each and
every single time. Average lifespan of a fiat currency is around 50 years and the world became fiat currency in 1971 when Nixon took us off the gold standard. Since that time every government in the West has gone crazy printing currency and putting
everything they needed on the credit card. Well, those days are ending now that BRICS is forming and the Western countries will no longer be able to dictate terms to commodity producing countries. Any of you who have brains will be stocking up on gold
and silver. Of course, dumbfuck imbeciles like Jerry will forget how much he was mouthing off at us when suddenly his money is worthless and inflation has destroyed his fixed income purchasing power. What a moron.

Yes, a little one. I was just imagining the wheelbarrow economy. Give a man a wheelbarrow and he will eat Mickey D's for a day. Teach a man to wheelbarrow.... Plus EV strategy for the coming hyperinflation: Borrow as much money as possible. Usury
rates are fine. Leverage the hell out of whatever you are worth. Buy a staple with the proceeds that retains value. You can't lose.
