    Quit kidding around, Jack.

Doyle lived a super long life and a very full life better than almost anyone. I'm not gonna take his death too serious. I think anyone who lived that well should go out with a smile and a mic drop. But to honor his memory, I think we should tell
    stories we recall of him.

    1. Doyle used to post in RGP...when we were all talking about how Bill gates was playing $3-6LHE at the mirage with Doyle at the Big Game and how Bill sent his people to get his copy of Super System signed, Doyle declined telling him to join his big
game...cuz obviously he could afford it. Doyle then told me to stop by the Mirage and he'd give me a signed copy of his next book which he had never released at the time. I was living in NorCal at the time and seemed a hassle.

    2. I remember as a kid my dad coming back from vegas and bringing me some small green book about Puggy Pearson winning the WSOP Big Dance and how it went down when he was HU vs Doyle. I was fascinated with it and liked poker ever since. To this day I
    can't find that book anywhere.

    3. I remember a story about Dan Bilzerian playing the big game with Doyle in Bobby Baldwin's room. Dan had some playmate girlfriend at the time and she asked him for some money to go shopping. Dan, while playing with flags(red, white, and blue $5K
chips) handed her a black $100 chip....as if she could do shopping at the Bellagio with that. Doyle called her over and gave her a $5K chip right in front of Dan to show him up....not sure if it put Dan on tilt or not, but was a classy move by Doyle.

    4. I remember back somewhere around mid 90's and Doyle allegedly got followed home after a WSOP win and robbed of his $90K in winnings. Not sure I bought that one.

LOL at two idiots playing one upmanship.

    Okay, my story:

I met Doyle at “Doyle’s Room” at the Rio WSOP in 2006. (Had to have a Tournament Ticket to get in). Just him and I, as the room was empty at that point. “Everybody must be in a game.”

He was bored, as he had to be in the room to great people. “Just wanted to meet you.” Chatted for a few minutes, then I went to my tournament; Event 206, $225 Super Satellite. First (and only) time I made a $1,000 raise in real money. (10 blacks).

Varies by person....some ethnicities mature and also age faster than others. But, the way I see it, if someone has lived a very full and complete life, death should be a celebration, not some sort of somber loss where you losers pretend you suffered
some loss. There's another poker player, Jeff Pierz....and I've talked about him...he was a lifetime degen poker player in vegas....watched him in the late 80's at the Mirage...then at the Bellagio, and finally towards the end at Orleans. He lived
life however he wants and in a way most couldn't get away with doing....playing poker daily, banging every nasty whore in vegas, moving out of the blinds to avoid the rake, and never toking. I respect Doyle's life and I respect Jeff Pierz life, too.
Many other people live their life like slaves passing time not really enjoying it at all and then they die.

Nah, Mike, give it a shot at overstating it. Tell us about his contributions to the game.
Doyle was so famous in the poker world that a jealous little guy desperately tried to get
attention for himself by repeatedly posting that Doyle was dead.

    Irish Mike
Is that the best you got? Really? Sad...
No, the sad thing is that was the best you had.

    Irish Mike
And, yet, it was so much better than what you had to offer.
You're the guy who repeatedly made false posts that Doyle was
dead. I have no idea why you hated the man enough to do
something like that. In any case, Doyle is gone and
you need let it go and move on.

the money was at the time. Doyle and Caro were speaking. I can't for the life of me remember anything of value from that event. I do remember Doyle slapping down some questioner in the Q&A. the question was something about the effect of Jesus in

Gas Bag (Jerky in Vegas) just endlessly regurgitates the same old dishonest left wing lies. He's a foul-mouthed, dimwit and any thing he posts is pure rubbish
He wouldn't know the truth if he tripped over it.. Don't waste your time on him.

However, one thing i've learned is that none of us ever know who's going to
die next. In your group of family, friends and acquaintances
you may think you know who's going next but, believe me, you don't.

We all thought it would be a 93 year guy - but we were wrong.
It was a 28 year old who was killed in a traffic accident about
five miles from his house. The crash wasn't his fault,
he wasn't the one driving drunk but he's the one who died.

I'll remember a grand story for you related to Rounders. Matt Damon and Ben Affleck played the $10K big dance at the WSOP and Matt Damon was dealt KK and went All-in against Doyle who, of course, was dealt AA which held up. I think it made Matt's day.

Kinda already what I posted about, Mike. Somebody gets to live a long productive full life doing what he wants, when they die, it's just a reflecting and celebration of those good times. It serves to help us remember the past which most of us probably
don't do very much. I've seen Doyle player poker in vegas maybe dozens of times....mostly he looked bored AF with more than most people make in a year sitting in front of him. There are two mobility devices I could always recognize in vegas. Doyle'
s scooter at the Bellagio poker room and Larry Flynt's gold plated wheel chair. Anyways, it looks like we're finally approaching that time when all the old timer RGPers begin to pass with more frequency.

You're the guy who repeatedly made false posts that Doyle was dead. I have no idea why you hated the man enough to do something like that. In any case, Doyle is gone and
you need let it go and move on.

The limited appeal this topic held for me has now
    been exhausted.

    Irish Mike
    .
Never hated Doyle at all. But, two things: 1. Doing the RIP thing trolls a lot of you
    .
No, it didn't, 'troll us.' And your cheap attempt at a dodge proves it.
    .
You are like a one trick pony.
It's all it took for you....
    .

Same unsupported accusations at everybody, every post.
    See?
    .
    .

Come up with something original for once you lame fuck.
Didn't have too. YOU were the one trick pony and three of us pointed it out...
    RIP Jerry. Summer approaches quickly.
    See?

    (Learn to lose..)
    .

I can tell by how miserable Jerry is that is time on earth is almost up..

I can tell by how miserable Jerry is...

    ***********

Well look what the rats dragged in, Chicken Irish Mick.

*** Couldn’t answer***; couldn’t show; couldn’t link; and I caught him Cutting & Pasting Bill O'Reilly’s bullshit speech
as his own and he RAN AND HID..
    .
Then the little weasel coward pops up like Bop A Mole for me to bitch-slap again. What’s the trouble
Mick? Embarrassed at getting caught plagiarizing a plagiarizer?
    .
Bill O’Reilly? WHA HA~HA! Even HERE you can’t address me.
    .

Gas Bag (Jerky in Vegas) just endlessly regurgitates the same old dishonest left wing lies.

THAT is why this little coward ran. I challenged him to SHOW THE LIE!
And he couldn’t. He STILL can’t address me, his master.
Run, little chickenshit, run. Run back to Bill O’Reilly and Cut & Paste some more from this disgraces fool.
    .
    .

He's a foul-mouthed, dimwit and any thing he posts is pure rubbish
    .

So why couldn’t you show? He’ll you’re too cowardly to even REPLY to me. So cry at the feet of Jack Froth at the mouth who can’t answer or reply, either.
    .

He wouldn't know the truth if he tripped over it.. Don't waste your time on him.

Yea, run like this little twerp. Only Jack Froth Cut & Pastes FOX. And he KNOWS Fox
lies to him because I PROVED it.

However, one thing i've learned is that none of us ever know who's going to die next.

You finally learn that? You actually didn’t KNOW that? Heh, you’re too stupid for prime time.. LOL
    .

In your group of family, friends and acquaintances
you may think you know who's going next but, believe me, you don't.

Yea, he ‘thinks he knows’ (which is stupid). But will he believe you, who just learned it?

We all thought it would be a 93 year guy - but we were wrong.

    .
That’ all I DO is show you guys wrong…

    .
It was a 28 year old who was killed in a traffic accident about
five miles from his house. The crash wasn't his fault,
he wasn't the one driving drunk but he's the one who died.

The one that was killed was the one that died?

(This is SO fucking good. Let’s see what Jack thinks…)
