I'm still worried. He made two posts, both the same about Poker Spot. Sounds serious.

If I knew who he really was and where to send it, I would send an
apology to his wife and tell her how worried we are about him. We should
all just let him live out his time in peace ... let him have his fun.

I am sorry that my wife and I will be unable to meet him when we are in Vancouver. We really are getting short on folks here on rgp.

You were going spastic about Medicare, Social Security, and pre-existing conditions exclusions before the midterms. The Repubs flopped so now you went back to grazing peacefully. Meanwhile Biden said he would 'shore up' SS. Doesn't even MENTION it in his
budget. It's just sitting there waiting for the Repubs to tear it to pieces the next chance they get.

And show yourself. It isn't my job to force-feed you everything.

Risky, do you think SS and Medicare can go on and on and on as
constructed at present? If you think everything is all right, you need
not answer ... but if you think these programs are "in trouble" ... do
have any thoughts about how they might be shored up.

I believe that SS was doomed from the beginning. People think that the payments they make are for "their" payments when they become eligible.
Many also believed that "lock box" stuff too. People receiving medicare
get their payments from those currently making payments ... there is no
lock box. The population is changing ... people are living a lot longer
... maybe those actually making the payments into SS will eventually not
be able to make it happen any more (even with "printed" money added).
    Any other thoughts?

The U.S.A. can afford Social Security. It is only in 'trouble' because of the exorbitant largesse poured onto what are already the most privileged. The tax structure needs to be adjusted. Am I supposed to cry if the wealthiest Americans will only be able
to take 3 vacations a year rather than 5, attend the repulsively expensive Superbowl occasionally rather than every single year, and have to buy a new C300 every other year rather than an SL500?

Those who economically benefit most pay more. Not rocket science.

There is not a direct correlation between Social Security and money creation. Money creation finances a lot more than Social Security and money creation is only necessitated because some don't pay enough taxes.

The U.S.A. can afford Social Security. It is only in 'trouble' because of the exorbitant largesse poured onto what are already the most privileged. The tax structure needs to be adjusted. Am I supposed to cry if the wealthiest Americans will only be
able to take 3 vacations a year rather than 5, attend the repulsively expensive Superbowl occasionally rather than every single year, and have to buy a new C300 every other year rather than an SL500?

    rocket science.

EXACTLY how much more do EXACTLY who must pay even more than they

There is not a direct correlation between Social Security and money creation. Money creation finances a lot more than Social Security and money creation is only necessitated because some don't pay enough taxes.

Again, I agree that money creation does finance a lot more than SS ...

    SO YOU BETTER PANIC.

Is that what Yellin is yelling about?
All while the Democrats are doing everything they can think of to give the Republicans the White
House AND the Senate in 2024.

    Show us.

I'll try to not laugh when you go Über-spastic. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
~ About what? (Answer that right after you "Show us," above. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

You were going spastic about Medicare, Social Security, and pre-existing conditions exclusions before the midterms. The Repubs flopped so now you went back to grazing peacefully. Meanwhile Biden said he would 'shore up' SS. Doesn't even
MENTION it in his budget. It's just sitting there waiting for the Repubs to tear it to pieces the next chance they get.

And show yourself. It isn't my job to force-feed you everything.

~ Risky, do you think SS and Medicare can go on and on and on as >>>>>>>>>>>>>> constructed at present? If you think everything is all right, you need
not answer ... but if you think these programs are "in trouble" ... do
have any thoughts about how they might be shored up. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>
I believe that SS was doomed from the beginning. People think that the
payments they make are for "their" payments when they become eligible.

Am I supposed to cry if the wealthiest Americans
will only be able to take 3 vacations a year rather than 5, attend the repulsively expensive Superbowl occasionally rather than every single year, and have to buy a new C300 every other year rather than an SL500?

~ I am surprised that you believe that. What "adjustment" solves SS and
Medicare and stops the creation of money out of thin air? >>>>>>>>>>>

Those who economically benefit most pay more. Not rocket science. >>>>>>>>>> You are correct ... those who economically benefit do pay more ... not
    rocket science.

EXACTLY how much more do EXACTLY who must pay even more than they >>>>>>>>>> already pay more than those who collect?
There is not a direct correlation between Social Security and money creation. Money creation finances a lot more than Social Security and money creation is only necessitated because some don't pay enough taxes.
Again, I agree that money creation does finance a lot more than SS ...

~ however, details of EXACTLY how which "some" need to pay EXACTLY how
    much MORE?

The devil is in the details. In my opinion, there is an end of the road.

I think it is you that does not like Churchill ...

    ~ "The inherent vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of blessings;
the inherent virtue of socialism is the equal sharing of miseries." >>>>>>>>>> There are others, of course.

    Social Security isn't 'socialism'.

    Here are more:

    ~ It's not?

    What is it?

It's a social welfare program and, properly implemented, it's compatible with capitalism.
    .

Oh ! Wait! They MUST take that back. You ARE ignorant.

    ~ Social Security is insurance.
    .

    LOL. Insurance companies have actuaries.
Yep, you're ignorant. Now reply for everybody to see:

Am I correct? Social Security is insurance?
    *** KNEW YOU COULDN'T ANSWER ***

(Or do your Dodge & Run)
You aren't coherent enough for an adult discussion, Jerry.
    And the answer is:

    *** DODGE AND RUN ***

(Do you even know what insurance is?)

Looks like we'll take your Run & Hide as a, No...

Unfortunately, Jerry, most (almost all) of what you post is not worthy
of serious consideration, so it is often ignored or berated. This
missive is an example of such nonsense.
