The Seattle-based retailer has six Nordstrom and seven Nordstrom Rack stores in Canada, which will be shuttered by late June.

Nordstrom chief executive Erik Nordstrom said the company is exiting Canada because it does not see a realistic path to profitability for the business in the country.'

I never worried when Target ceased operations in Canada, so why the hell would I worry about Nordstrom? I never went there, and I guess most other Canadians didn't either. The problem is some of these big American retailers move into Canada whole hog
without really understanding the market here. We don't wear designer clothes; we wear Levi's and red and black lumberjackets from Mark's Work Warehouse. As usual, you aren't making any sense. Nordstrom is not a macroeconomic indicator.

Yes, you can still buy luxury goods in Vancouver. Who could have guessed? lol Although, I don't many of those pins on your google map represent 230,000 square foot department stores. The previous high end department store in that location also went
broke. You just aren't very bright.

I guess Hitler would have been similarly delighted with the large majority of the US: https://tinyurl.com/2usww73u
I can't help but notice that in the US the populations with the highest percentage of black people are in the Southeast. How did that happen?
    You just aren't very bright.

Still not sure how you never saw a black person in Vancouver. Seems mathematically impossible, unless you hid out in your hotel room the whole time. Were you terrified of all the Asians?

Actually, I think it's just called "Mark's" now. They rebranded. But it's a popular Canadian retailer. I think they have something like 400 stores. How many did Nordstrom close again? You just aren't very bright.
"In court filings, the company says Nordstrom's Canadian business has lost money every single year it has been in operation." (since 2014).
So that's why we should all be worried now? You just aren't very bright.
And .. luxury retailers in Vancouver: https://www.google.com/maps/search/luxury+retailer/@49.214869,-123.0521632,11z

Yes, you can still buy luxury goods in Vancouver. Who could have guessed? lol Although, I don't many of those pins on your google map represent 230,000 square foot department stores. The previous high end department store in that location also
went broke. You just aren't very bright.
On both occasions that I visited Vancouver the only noticeable difference was that I never saw a black person. That was weird. Hitler would have been delighted.

^^ he just tried to avoid all this. I wonder why. lol
Your mealymouthed pitter-patter is an abject failure. I'm guessing you think it's impressing the hell out of everyone.

    ^^ he has nothing.

~ I never worried when Target ceased operations in Canada, so why the hell would I worry about Nordstrom? I never went there, and I guess most other Canadians didn't either. The problem is some of these big American retailers move into Canada
whole hog without really understanding the market here. We don't wear designer clothes; we wear Levi's and red and black lumberjackets from Mark's Work Warehouse. As usual, you aren't making any sense. Nordstrom is not a macroeconomic indicator.
