How many dimes are in your pocket? When the Roosevelt Dime was first minted in 1946, the mint mark was on the reverse. I believe in 1968 they started putting the mint mark on the face, right above the date, under the neck. In fact, the Philadelphia
Mint left the mark blank, but now they include a "P". Over the years, many errors occurred, some quite valuable. In 1982, there were many "P"s where the mark was missing. 1982 is a fairly modern date. Long after they stopped making dimes out of
silver, the 1982 is "clad", made of copper and nickel. Look for a 1982 dime with no mint mark. There are plenty still in peoples pocket, no one knows how many were made. If you find one, it might be worth a couple hundred dollars.

The thing these days is for ticket redemption kiosks not to dispense change. It happened in most casinos I was at in Vegas really and I see it locally. Pisses me off to no end. I walked back in to Circa to bring my 21 cent ticket to the cage. I'll be
    sure to check the dimes.
FYI looks like a .4% meter on the dollar bar tops. Could be .5. I only ran $10 through.
    $4500 Tuesday afternoon.
    $4900 Saturday morning.

I would want an 8K royal before I thought about it unless there were some good club benefits.

    Did you just get home?

Yes, the partial tickets policy nowadays is very annoying to me. I either save them up in my car, or convert them to a "round" number on a smaller game or slot game. I admit, there have been times when I had a rough session that I just took the partial
ticket, crumpled it up, and threw it on the floor in a juvenile fit.

So you say it looks like somewhere between .4% to .5% meter on the Long Bars? Thank you for checking those for me. Hope you had a nice trip. And I agree, my min play on a progressive 8-6 BPDX would probably be an 8000 royal.

Returned Saturday night. 6 days is a long time to be in Vegas. And yet somehow not enough time to do all the things I thought I had time for. I learned a little more about slots, but it's an ever changing landscape. Those tiny tickets might be an AP
tool. I'll have to investigate more. I think if I were a local I would regularly check the slot manufacturers sites and elsewhere to sniff out AP possibilities. Some slots that look like they might have AP possibilities just don't.

VP play could have been worse, but it was brutal at times. Golden Gate BP prog had had $1300 RF and $350 SF when I Left. Plus 1% on a promotion. Lost about 10% of my action, before I had to leave to check into GN at 10PM. Bad luck.

Tried Wildfire --Lot was empty couple people waiting outside said they were "having issues." Closed. Did not stick around to find out what the issues were. We took the phone off of the lady and just cruised some side streets to get there. You were
spot on. Pretty funky. And funky up Fremont on the way back DT. I kind of enjoyed it. Don't think my wife felt the same.

Lots of time spent watching the fountains from the balcony at Cosmo. Saw more Cactus than I ever anticipated seeing in my entire life. Went to Ethel M and Spring Preserve. It gave my wife the opportunity to tell the story of when she sat on a cactus
in girl scouts... several times. As we tried to figure out which type of cactus pierced her posterior. Also saw the Neon museum. No cactus, but still pretty interesting. The sad part is I spent time under some of those signs.

Yeah. And Golden Gate was giving me an extra 1% on my action up to 10K. The little quarter game was worth in the $40 an hour range. More at the end. And the machines were fast and comfortable. And they worked. I could fly on them. Maybe 1000 hands
an hour. I was on it like white on rice. I managed to lose about $80 an hour. File it under YMMV.

I like the progressive on the SF. A lot of casual players will miss max ev SF holds giving the meter a chance to grow.

This is what I want that I can't find where I live. I want a challenge, I want to figure out difficult strategy changes that keep me awake.

I see one of the jokers around here read your post and stole 2million dimes in philadelphia. Gonna probably take him a while to find all those 1982's with no mint mark. Probably a few silver dimes in there, too.

Yeah, I saw that story the other day. Have you ever seen a story where some guy sees the door of an armored truck come open and bags of money drop out and he turns it in? I've been following armored trucks for years and years and I still haven't see one
drop a bag of money. I guarantee you, when it finally happens, I ain't turning it in.

In fact, today is April 18th and I just mailed my quarterly tax estimates for NEXT year. I'm so sick I may not be able to go to the casino tonight. I want to puke.
