    • Russia will emerge from war in Ukraine a "shattered military power," a senior Pentagon official said.
    • Colin Kahl told lawmakers that Russia lost the war — echoing a similar remark by the top US general.
    • He added that US military support for Kyiv has been, and will continue to be, flexible and dynamic.

Russia will emerge from its war in Ukraine a "shattered military power," a senior Pentagon official said on Tuesday, stressing that the country has yet to achieve any of its goals and is expected to continue to struggle on the battlefield.

Colin Kahl, the under secretary of defense for policy, told US lawmakers that the situation looked "dire and pessimistic" for Ukraine when Russian forces first invaded in late February 2022, but after a year of fighting, it has become clear that Russian
President Vladimir Putin has "lost" the war.

"While I don't know how the war is going to end, I think we already know one conclusion for sure, which is that Russia has lost," Kahl said during a House Armed Services Committee session on oversight of US military aid to Ukraine. "They intended to take
over all of Ukraine — that didn't happen, it's not going to happen. They intended to divide NATO — NATO is stronger."

"They intended for Russia to emerge out of this war a great power in a multi-polar world — they will emerge from this conflict a shattered military power," he added.

In November 2022, Kahl noted that Russia had likely lost half of its main battle tanks on the battlefield in Ukraine, arguing then that it will "emerge from this war weaker than it went in." His remarks in November, and again on Tuesday, echo what other
top US officials and generals have said in stating that Russia has already lost and failed in Ukraine.

After a year of brutal fighting, Ukraine's military is facing a pivotal moment. It's forces must absorb Russian attacks and hold on long enough for the arrival of much-anticipated and advanced Western armor and heavy weaponry.'

This is why the Soviet Union intentionally "broke up" without a shot being fired. Long range plans. Brilliant masters of deceit.

They don't even have to be "Earth-Shattering" nukes. Just some effective but sophisticated strategically aimed nukes. They also control at least 2/3 of the governments on the globe and have saturated other countries, ours too, with their best agents.
Don't forget their control of space beyond the ionosphere. And any notion that there is a difference between them and Red China is a total farce. They will act as ONE! The really sad part of this all is the fact they they, and China, have been built
into formidable enemies by OUR original technology and traitors within our own government. The enemy was truly Made in the USA. And one more thing. Timing is everything to the Communists. They will not make a move until the game is a lock. Leave
    nothing to chance.

There is no chance they will attack us with nuclear weapons when doing so would obliterate Russia and China from the face of the planet. We have enough boomers at sea to obliterate both of them 10 times over.

We should make it crystal clear to Russia and China that their nuclear saber-rattling may soon convince us that a massive pre-emptive nuclear strike is unavoidable.

That's their problem. 'Aiming' nukes. They can't.

They also control at least 2/3 of the governments on the globe...

Oh, good; now you can list them for us...

and have saturated other countries, ours too, with their best agents.

Oh, and list them, too. (You might also list the "not-best agents" while you're at it). (or run from both).

Don't forget their control of space beyond the ionosphere.

I'm not sure about "shattered" because Russia can always count on China for support.
However, Russia has lost 130,000 soldiers KIA so far in this war and hundreds of thousands of draft age Russians have fled the country to avoid serving.

That said, I have to say that I am very surprised by the current state of the Ukraine war. It's been a year since Russia invaded and I thought they
would wipe out Ukraine in a month.
