I think I've posted his videos before. It's a great Youtube channel. Here's his latest documentary from the US/Mexico border, doing a ride-along with the Yuma County sheriff.

President Biden and the Democrats are trying to get a bill through that would allow us to turn back people seeking asylum if they can't show that they asked for asylum in any country they went through first. Republicans said they will block it. (
Because Republicans want cheap, illegal, labor).
President Biden is still trying to get Border Judges through so asylum seekers could immediately be taken to them and decided if they can stay or we could put them back over the border. Republicans are still blocking judges. (Because Republicans want
cheap, illegal, labor).
President Biden and the Democrats are still trying to get Republicans to renegotiate our immigration policies so we can enforce E-Verify. Republicans still refuse to allow this because they could not hire these illegals.
.
According to CNN the average wait for an asylum hearing is 4.3 years but can be as high as 6 years. That is ridiculous.
But not for Republican corporations. There is a time limit for the asylum seeker where they can seek employment. Republicans hire them,
no matter the time, because immigration is powerless, and the companies do not have to check their citizenship.
Of course, the core cause of all this immigration chaos is the US's xenophobic (i.e. systemically racist) legal immigration system.
It's not racial, it's by country now. (Which can be considered somewhat racial)
Both parties benefit from the illegal migration,
How do the Democrats benefit?
but it isn't politically expedient to make it lawful. It would be easy to stop the illegal immigration if they really wanted to.
