When I was in school, the teacher could "send you to the coach" who
would use a paddle or a belt. Parents did that too in the old days.
There is no reason for the police to intervene in the incident
mentioned, but one video is not worth much. The problems are worse than
that. Always were and always will be.
Maybe a time out (like grade school) might work again.
Usually, such "events" are "not the first time" situations. School
teachers are saints in my book.
