    One of my saddest Christmas was many years ago. All alone, in Vegas, had Christmas dinner at the Longhorn on Boulder. Sad.

    Of course, back then, I was alone by my own choice. This year I will also be alone, but for a different reason. Everyone is dead. If only I could make it out to Vegas so I could have dinner at the Longhorn.

    You could’a had dinner at my place. I had to do one of those, ‘alone’ dinners one year. Living in Oregon and working for the US Government, I was commuting to Montana, working at a new instillation construction. One Thanksgiving I was stuck there,
    high in the Bitter Root Mountains, all alone, while the wife and kids celebrated at home. So I took the company vehicles and snuck off through the snow to Missoula (Interstate 90). Found a truck stop and ate alone. Then saw a group of cross-country
    truckers pull in and all sat at the same table, enjoying Thanksgiving with ‘strangers.’

    Coin-in. Sorry, trading terminology. I was up about $100 from VP when I started the slot and down $1,250 when I got the bonus rounds. So I was down about 100 times the denomination when it hit.
