This really turned into a kick-ass series @ season #3.

From what's been said about season #4, I think it can still be seen on the regular "Paramount" channel; which is a cable channel that ,"everyone gets," as opposed to the "Paramount+"
channel; which is a pay-subscription-streaming, internet situation.

So, Yellowstone season #4 can be DVR'd like any routine, free-cable channel.I hope.

Tyrus, on the Greg Gutfeld Show said that (on the show) he watches it. When news-media starts mentioning a TV program, it usually means it's a big hit.
I'll post this here because it's TV related, but this "match play" tournament in Austin had a great finish last year. And mostly due to the fact that it is a match play format, and with the
added drama of high winds a year ago.

The thing is though, all the suspense and interesting aspects are all rolled-up into the final day of play on Sunday; unless one of the two players runs away with it; but that's not likely.

I just set my FiOS DVR for "Better all Saul" se-6 - pt-1: April 18th on AMC (pt.-2 is July 11th; 6 more eps).

A rare occurrence when a top series is free on one of the most basic of cable channels.

Only Netflix dumps all eps all at once.

"Benjamin Franklin" by Ken Burns (just started this week- first-run) and it should be available to you for free from PBS "on demand.".

"Benjamin Franklin" was pretty good; covered a lot time and events without "dragging."

Amazing how many people you hear in "show Biz" raving about Ken Burns' Civil War documentary (also from PBS).

I regularly listen to the Jason Bateman, Shawn Hayes & Will Arnett podcast. When they ask any of the podcast-guests what they watch on TV (and among themselves) it's amazing how often that Civil War documentary series is
mentioned (also, the foreign detective series that run on Netflix and Amazon Prime).
They actually had Ken Burns' on the Podcast one week last year; he lives in Connecticut, deliberately away from the Hollywood glitz he says.
"Yellowstone" upcoming spin off series called: "6666" is switching to "free" cable.
This is an indication that the networks' attempts to price gouge with their "streaming-sites/apps" isn't working very well; at least in the case of Paramount.

So, the series "6666" should be "DVR-ible" on the regular-cable channel: "Paramount ("Paramount Plus" is the internet, subscription, streaming "channel.")."

Remember when I posted those articles about the new "Luxury train" runs through the Rockies a couple of years ago?

Here's a video of an actual trip. It may take a while getting through this video, because you'll want to freeze frame for a more contemplative look at the various & awesome physical features presented along the way.

    Interesting tidbit:

For the stayover at Glenwood Springs, they give you a key to your hotel room while you're still on the train: get off the train & you can go directly to the one of three hotels you've pre-picked; you're already checked-in and your shit is already
in the room; when you leave the next morning, they'll "check-out" for you; just leave your shit it the room & walk out of the hotel; never have to even stop at the hotel desk throughout your stay: they pre-do all the arrangements.

Probably be a good idea to post the video:

Update on the Netflix recommendation for "Dead To Me."

The third and final season is obviously a "throw-a-way"/cash-in; which would be kind of a ripoff had it not been on "free" Netflix, anyway.

Se-3 is pretty bad, and actually makes no sense as a continuation of the se-1 & 2 story- narrative

Also, if you noticed a profound difference n Christina Applegate's appearance since se-2, it's due to her being diagnosed with MS.

    https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/linda-cardellini-liz-feldman-dead-to-me-christina-applegate-ms-diagnosis-1235263173/

Season 3 isn't really needed: as the murder mystery of seasons 1 & 2 was pretty make concluded, and season 3 would be of an "aftermath" type of story in any case.

This really turned into a kick-ass series @ season #3.

From what's been said about season #4, I think it can still be seen on the regular "Paramount" channel; which is a cable channel that ,"everyone gets," as opposed to the "Paramount+" channel; which is a pay-subscription-streaming, internet situation.

So, Yellowstone season #4 can be DVR'd like any routine, free-cable channel.I hope.

I've got a "deluxe" cable package and it has more channels than
I can count. Plus I have Amazon Prime and Apple TV. The problem
with Yellowstone is that they seem to be running out of interesting
story line. I started watching the "1923" prequel but it's too early to say how
good it is. Great cast but the storyline jumps around a lot - different decades and different continents.

The other series I'm watching is "Tulsa King" with Sylvester Stallone.
Kind of a "Godfather" meets "The Sopranos".

Ya, I agree, the Yellowstone spinoffs are definitely getting to be like herding cats.
I don't get Paramount+ (where they're running) right now, so I'll wait to see how good they are, and just buy seasons later, on Prime, Vudu and, I think with Apple+, individual seasons of series are available to buy.

The original "Yellowstone" on the free Paramount-cable-channel is still going pretty well; but they're (the producers), as predictable, throwing-in sub plots of the "functioning dysfunctional family unit." And with the "Beth" character questioning
credibility for whether there could really be anyone that nutty and still "on the loose."

It looks like "1883" won't get a se-2, but "Yellowstone" gets bigger ratings by the episode

Tyrus, on the Greg Gutfeld Show said that (on the show) he watches it. When news-media starts mentioning a TV program, it usually means it's a big hit.
I'll post this here because it's TV related, but this "match play" tournament in Austin had a great finish last year. And mostly due to the fact that it is a match play format, and with the added drama of
    high winds a year ago.

The thing is though, all the suspense and interesting aspects are all rolled-up into the final day of play on Sunday; unless one of the two players runs away with it; but that's not likely.

    https://www.pgatour.com/news/2022/03/23/match-recaps-wgc-dell-match-play-wednesday-day-one-1-austin-country-club.html
Here's a good article that explains the confusing format of this tournament; it addresses the "huh?!" factor of how/why players who lose in early rounds...keep playing.

    -Prime Video https://www.imdb.com/title/tt11685912/

Looks like a "Yellowstone," present day western inspired premise with Josh ("No Country For Old Men") Brolin.
    Make that: "Gary Oldman."

I saw ep-1 last night, and having read most of John le Carré's novels and seen all of the "Smiley" series on Masterpiece Theater, I still liked this series a lot.

This series is based on the books of another author, but is very much like the above-mentioned in quality, and very much without
that "coycat redundancy" of mere "rip-offs" it has it's own style of dry-wit-humor of the "damned," for example: le Carre's clever, this is funny.

    To be continued.
Correction (insert semicolon): "mere "rip-offs;" it has it's..."
    Just a reminder for you combat-happy Joe's:

I just set my FiOS DVR for "Better all Saul" se-6 - pt-1: April 18th on AMC (pt.-2 is July 11th; 6 more eps).

A rare occurrence when a top series is free on one of the most basic of cable channels.

"Outer Range" starts on Prime Videos on April 15th.

Only Netflix dumps all eps all at once.

"Benjamin Franklin" by Ken Burns (just started this week- first-run) and it should be available to you for free from PBS "on demand.".

I'm going to start-in on this one now, and I think it's 2hrs each for two eps in se-1.

I just finished "Ozark" tonight. Wow. Awesome writing and acting, as basicl-great as that.

    Anyone else? Thoughts, comments?

"Benjamin Franklin" was pretty good; covered a lot time and events without "dragging."

Amazing how many people you hear in "show Biz" raving about Ken Burns' Civil War documentary (also from PBS).

I regularly listen to the Jason Bateman, Shawn Hayes & Will Arnett podcast. When they ask any of the podcast-guests what they watch on TV (and among themselves) it's amazing how often that Civil War documentary series is mentioned (
also, the foreign detective series that run on Netflix and Amazon Prime).

    "Yellowstone" season 5: November 13, 2022; 2-parts of 7 eps each

Also, spinoff series title: "1933" will be with Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren.
Holy crap! this must be the retirement era of the "Dutton Family."

Actually, the official description says "1933" covers the Duttons during the Great Depression,
Oh, like "1883" wasn't depressing enough (chortle).
