    ...been off the grid for a little while and upon logging back in, i can't
    seem to find rec.games.deckmaster: is this its new home?..

    -- wow, you HAVE been away. Yes, rec.games.deckmaster didn't last very long once Magic exploded; remember when there was gonna be a whole line of Deckmaster games? :) The rec.games.magic.* groups got proposed and passed quickly, then were heavily used for quite a while. ...but died down around
    the same time all of Usenet did; .rules traffic mostly moved to the WotC website's forum, for example.

    It's been pretty quiet here and on .rules and .strategy for several years now.
