Yes, I've missed y'all and will be back later in

    Later gators.

I don't know how long lived newsgrouper.org has been and will be.
Maybe set up Thunderbird with Eternal September or Blocknews while you
have access to people who use that too and can help with the settings.

Anyway, dsi1 is still missing and maybe others?

I have been missing for the last few days. I was traipsing through the forest when I was accosted with a rogue family of wild boars. They chased me down a ravine and I fell into a small creek with nothing to protect myself other than a
thin, wooden, walking stick. I was forced to lay in that water until the next day.
Oh yeah, did I mention that I had a broken leg? The next morning, I crawled out of the ravine, and dragged myself out of the forest. It took me 8 hours. I was found by some hikers who called for help and airlifted by helicopter to Queen's Hospital. It was quite the ordeal but the whole time, my only concern was to get
back to my computer and find out about what happened to B/N at the party.

Welcome back! I'm preparing a batch of cornbread. I just need the
small cubes of butter to soften a bit more to cut into the dry
ingredients. I didn't have any buttermilk so I added some buttermilk
powder to the mixture. Then I'll stir in the milk and an egg to make
the batter and into a hot greased skillet and into the oven it will go.

I have no idea what I'll cook for dinner but I will definitely be
    enjoying some fresh hot cornbread!

    Thank you kindly!

Have you ever melted your butter until it's sizzling and
then pour it into the batter? Give it a quick stir and
into a hot oven to bake. What you're cutting in is going
to melt anyway and you've given it a head start if it's
melted and it's coating all that cornmeal as you're stirring.

    Just a suggestion.

No silly. It's the official news outlet for the president of the united states. Directly owned and run by the POTUS himself. It's basically
news from the horse's mouth. Pure, direct, infallible TRUTH as it's
    name implies.

It supersedes and replaces all news articles from the myriad of news
agencies. They try, but are always behind.

Also the place to check on many many things that change by the minute,
or second, like tariffs. You can't trust a tariff that was set 5
    minutes ago.

I have not done that, probably because of the old adage to cut the
butter into the dry mixture with a fork until the mixture resembles
    course crumbs.

I've never heard of that with cornbread. Biscuits and pie crust,
yes. Not with any kind of quick bread, though.

If I made cornbread. Or if I thought it was a good idea.

The times I've made cornbread, I've used the muffin method:

    Combine dry ingredients.
    Combine wet ingredients.
Combine wet and dry ingredients and mix gently.

I don't know how long lived newsgrouper.org has been and will be.
Maybe set up Thunderbird with Eternal September or Blocknews while you >> have access to people who use that too and can help with the settings. >>
Anyway, dsi1 is still missing and maybe others?

I have been missing for the last few days. I was traipsing through the forest
when I was accosted with a rogue family of wild boars. They chased me down a
ravine and I fell into a small creek with nothing to protect myself other than a
thin, wooden, walking stick. I was forced to lay in that water until the next day.
Oh yeah, did I mention that I had a broken leg? The next morning, I crawled out
of the ravine, and dragged myself out of the forest. It took me 8 hours. I was
found by some hikers who called for help and airlifted by helicopter to Queen's
Hospital. It was quite the ordeal but the whole time, my only concern was to get
back to my computer and find out about what happened to B/N at the party.

    https://photos.app.goo.gl/c9skvTPYxK6JPp9z9

I can just see you in the shrubbery behind that big boar.

Personally, I don't see why he laid there until the next day.
He should have gnawed his leg off and be done with it.

If he was lying around in the forest for days, the wild
boars would have gnawed his leg off. Or worse...
