I am going to need a long shower tonight. It is too hot for a bath. It
would have been my mother's 101st birthday today so we went down to the cemetery to visit. Was was going to get flowers but I don't think she
cared much for grave flowers because no one sees them. However, she
loved going out for meals, especially for lunch. We opted to go for
lunch instead. We stopped at a Greek restaurant along the canal. I had
not had a gyros for ages so that was what I ordered. It was fantastic,
the best gyros I have had in years. However, it was loaded with garlic.
Supper tonight was a Barese sausage, also containing a lot of garlic.
