Neighbor and I are heading to an Italian restaurant for
dinner, her treat. She feels she needs to repay me when
I look after her cats, clean their litter box, and
collect her mail. I honestly do not mind doing this,
but she feels she owes me.

I'm getting to try a restaurant I've not been to and
will report back later.

I had blackened salmon topped with some fried shrimp
and all served on a bed of garlic mashed potatoes
and wilted shrimp. There was also some sort of sauce
which I suspect was laden with garlic. We had an appetizer
of garlic and parmesan stuffed large mushroom caps.
There was a buttery garlic sauce in the bottom of that
dish. She had shrimp alfredo and we both agreed everything
was excellent!!

We had reservations but there was still a wait of about
15-20 minutes and the place was simply packed. When
we left about an or so later the line waiting to be
seated was just as long as when we arrived.

Dinner tonight was spicy pork with eggplant, shiitake mushrooms and
onions. The shiitake mushrooms were fresh and from Canada. They were
good. I'll have to make a spicy beef dish with dried shiitake. I got a
giant bag of those mushrooms.
