I am still full from today's buffet lunch. I have made up some burgers
so they are ready to throw on the grill when/if we get hungry.

Last night my DIL sent over a very nice turkey platter, but it was after
my dinner. Had it tonight and it was very good.
Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce. Had a wee sip of
chardonnay to wash it down.

I'm still on soft, fairly bland food. I made yellow squash casserole.
A few months ago I printed the recipe and put it on the table in the
break room at the office building where I work. A woman who recently
rented an office there found it. She walked up and down the halls
asking whose recipe was it? She made it and absolutely loved it. She's
been asking me for recipes ever since. :) Last week I gave her the
recipe for potato leek soup. For some reason she thought it would be complicated...

I hope you enjoyed your dinner! I can't think of any decent Italian restaurants in my area. 'Panini's on the Waterfront' downtown might
qualify but the building is more interesting than the food was:

The building dates to the late 19th century. It was at one time a bank
and the full size bank vault is still intact on the lower floor of the building. The restaurant itself is upstairs with sweeping views of the Beaufort harbor.
