Hi! I'm still about. Tonight's dinner was a nice fresh Marinara with
beef sausages and some cremeni mushrooms served over ziti. At the side
is a stir fry of red and green bell pepper, more cremeni mushrooms and
some carrots done in a 1/2 TB 'I cant believe it's not butter' and a
teaspoon of sesame oil. A pinch of ginger is in the stir fry.

Canned Cento crushed tomatoes were pwerfect for the marinara sauce.

Marinara sauce is one of the easiest to make from scratch,

2 15oz cans Cento crushed tomatoes
    1 tsp black pepper
3 cloves crushed garlic (Or really fine mince)
Basil to taste (about 1/2 TB is using dry suits us, if fresh use 2
    sprigs)

Olive oil- amount varies, from 1/4c to 2 TB. We prefer it be less oily
so used jusy 1 TB. Most add kosher salt as a finisher or at the table
    for the diners to determine.

Quite nice even if my camera isn't fancy.
