Anything yummy planned for supper at your house tonight?
Or will you send Bryan into a tailspin by eating leftovers?

I had a dental appointment and got out of her office a
bit later than I had hoped for. Then headed to Best Buy,
then to Walmart to pick up a prescription. Finally, had
lunch about 1:30 and I'm simply stuffed, so there will
be no cooking here tonight. If by some miracle I
should get peckish, a banana should be more than enough
to fill any empty corners in my stomach.

My wife is baking a couple chicken quarters. I won't complain since she
is cooking but I had bought those legs with the idea of making chicken
soup. A friend of mine was not much of a cook but he used to regularly
make a pot of chicken soup with a couple chicken legs. It was always
better than any soup I made.

Yesterday I mentioned I bought some Just Barely chicken breast strips.
That was dinner with potato and a salad.

To add some color and different flavor to the salad, i added some grapes
cut in half and an orange segment that I cut up.

Needs a wedge of organic lemon and a sprig of parsley.

I had mapo tofu ramen. It was everything that I thought it would be.
Dessert was custard tarts. It was all so god-damn beautiful.

You appear to eat a salad every day. Doesn't that become a bit boring?

Oh, heck no. Salads are virtually infinitely variable.

I eat my main meal at lunch time. Dinner is just a little something
to tide me over until breakfast.

I vaguely remember people doing that in the 60s: a hot main meal
around 12 PM and something quick, maybe even a sandwich, for dinner
    around 6 PM.

i arrived home from work to ham steak with steamed asparagus and
garlic butter plus sour cream baked potatos.

i finished the rest of the asparagus this morning for breakfast.
during my last trip to the restroom i noted how it always makes
my piss stink so beautifully. :)

Unless I'm terribly mistaken, Bryan was quoting that stupid "book" he
wrote featuring characters named Ian and Winter.
