Alcohol, even the small amount in beer, never
makes a good pairing with colds nor fevers.

In any case, I thought the maxim was:

Feed a fever; starve a cold.

I don't know. I successfully defeated more than one cold by soaking in
hot bathtub and then having one or two hot rum toddies with a bit of honey.

One of my professors used the red toque green toque technique. He put on
a red toque and drank a bottle of whiskey and when to bed. The next day
he put on the green toque and drank bottle of rum. He figured that by
day three there was nothing alive left in his body.

This is incorrect. Lukashenko, the dictator of white russia, cured Corona
with vodka, saunas and ice hockey.

I think if anyone knows how it works, it would be Lukashenko.
