i hated them when i was a kid. my father was militant about
eating everything on my plate, so choked them down i did.
they were always from a can though. my wife convinced me
otherwise by getting some fresh ones at a farmers market,
then steamed, peeled, chopped, and served to me cold. game
changer! natures candy. yum.
