  • flameless heat !

    Got the inductive heating unit in the mail today , and it's almost everything they advertised . Heats a 3/8" nut to dark red in about 20
    seconds , and definitely makes it easier to turn . I'll be trying it out
    on the truck bed bolts today or tomorrow . This has GOT to be easier
    than cutting off the bolts with an angle grinder ! It's also probably
    safer than throwing sparks around near the gas tank - and I for sure
    wouldn't dare use an OA torch for this task !

    I was a wild and crazy guy and not in a Steve Martin kind of way. Dying
    in an inferno of gasoline was low risk for me back then.
