A year ago some study in UK predicted something like 60-70% of the
people in the NYC metro area were carrying Covid antibodies, the
highest in the world.
At a certain point they will have some degree of herd immunity but
being a corona virus, that only means we have the ability to fight the infection, not that we won't be infected (like the common cold)
I do worry more about the locked down countries like New Zealand that
have not built up any natural immunity at all. They will be like the
Amazon tribes that get wiped out by some European disease we have
learned to live with.
