Does anyone have any experience with the Oru Kayak, mentioned in a National Geographic article on origami, Feb 2023?

I have a Haven (the tandem). It is fine in reasonably flat water, but will not take skirts. I can set it up in about 10 minutes and then refold it in about the same time. We've been out in 1 ft swells with no problem (except some water over the stern
while beaching, which isn't really a problem).

There are a couple of singles that do take skirts, but I've not been in them, only seen them. I was told the top seam is a bit finicky to join, but is tight once done.

    Does any of that help?

Yes, thanks so much for the reply. I have a 16' tandem Folbot but was eyeing this as a lighter alternative. Maybe when spring gets here I'll think more about it. Again Thanks.
