J fkkk the De Rosa Medrakx out today. I've been riding the DeRosa Idol for several weeks while the Time wheels are being repaired.
The Merack rides so much better than the Idol that it is pretty surprising. On thh the toute today there are sevferal places where you have to make 180 edegree or so turns at nearly dead stop. Both bikes are capable of this but the Merak doesn't raise
any conerns about balance like the Idol does. The Time is also a better balanced bike. The Idol is probably better handling at high speed but I don't ride that fast anynore. I don't think I got above 14 mph today and my heart rate went up to 131 bpm atr
that speed. Oh well, we all get old except ror Flunky who does a 200 mile ride with an average speed of 20 mph. Oh, that's right, it's a vertual ride that Krygowsky says corrects for all of the normal riding stresses.
