    Folr some reason my 1030 didn't save yesterdaqy's ride so I will be using the 830 today.

    Both have same options once you hit start/pause button ie save/discard on
    the touch screen screen or unpause via the button.

    Will auto save to some degree if the units crash but that seems more of a Garmin of old thing, back before they had competition!

    The xx30 range was their response, at the time very rapid devices the xx50 range is apparently dramatically faster, though that’s not really enough
    for me to want to upgrade I have the Edge 830.
