    The more wonderful you think helmets are, the more strongly you should
    oppose mandatory helmet laws.

    You can't mandate the wearing of helmets without creating a legal
    definition of the word "helmet" -- thereby banning all helmets that
    don't precisely match that definition.

    You haven't been paying attention, Joy. There are now those that want to mandate your speech and societal values although I do admit it's fun to be scanctimonious about helmets, patch kits, rear view mirrors and things now
    and again.

    It's fun to tell others what to do...isn't that why we have children?
