  • Pre-owned parachute wanted

    I'm looking for a pre-owned parachute that still has some life in it. My current chute has reached the age that my current chute-packer says he doesn't really want to see it anymore...

    I'm at 220 lbs (and dropping...) and 5' 7" tall (and probably getting shorter...)

    Any available or any suggestions on finding one?

    Before deciding on a used parachute look into the Mars/ ATL chutes that are going new for $2000 or so.
    They are a pretty good deal. I have 2 of them for my ASH-25. You are going to spend between $1000 and $1500 for a good used chute anyway, so for a bit more you get a new one.

    When I needed a chute a bought a brand new Paraphenila chute. I happen to be on the same airport and they custom fit it to me. Pretty important piece of equipment. I had a main failure during my sky diving days.
