Anyone know the trick of getting the last rubber “donut” and it’s keeper on on the MLG suspension on a PW6?
Doing the 6 year/1,000 hour mandatory items on our older PW6. Attempting to replace the rubber rings/donuts for the main landing gear suspension. How does one compress them enough to get the keeper pin in?
The factory provides no guidance in the maintenance manual. We’ve emailed them but no response.
Anyone know a mechanic who has done this maintenance event?

Hi Tom,
I know it has been a few years since your post, but I wonder how you made out on the rubber ring installation? Any tips on this would be appreciated as we might have to do this on our own PW6's here one day.
Cheers,
Mike
