Anyone know of a source for a trailer light jumper that goes from a German trailer seven pin to an American vehicle seven pin? Thanks.

I hadn't seen the adapter for the US 7-pin round connector to the Cobra trailer Euro ISO DIN 1724 7-pin round connector.

There is also an adapter to go from our to a 4-flat US vehicle connector. https://www.amazon.com/Oyviny-Converter-European-Connector-Waterproof/dp/B08N698D5C.

I updated my presentation to show both the adapters for US 4-flat and 7-pin round types. See http://aviation.derosaweb.net/presentations/#trailerwiring

Here is the schematic of a US 7-pin trailer connector if you just want to cut off the German connector and start over.

I prefer red brake and yellow turn lights which is standard in European and Japanese cars and trailers. My Subaru trailer harness has six wires (one directly wired to the battery; so, don't chop the six to four wire converter before pulling the the fuse -
    don't ask).

I use a six pin plug (without connecting the battery depleter).

To tow four pin trailers, I had to add diodes to the converter.

Be careful how you wire your plug. A loose wire blew my stop light fuse. Getting rear ended would be a bummer.

20 March 1985. I had brought my DG-300 to Eagle Field to do comparison tests to see which glider I wanted to fly at the Rieti WGC later that summer. The first flight
was a Jeep tow with full ballast onto the ridge. A cold front had passed, and we had
20 Kts of NW wind on the ridge, and Cu's with 8,000' cloud bases. We ran comprehensive
comparison runs and climbs at max gross weight, then dumped the ballast and did it
again empty. After about 1:20 of flight, we landed and put Johnson 1/4" duct tape "bugs"
on the leading edges of the wings, loaded back up full of water and Jeep launched again.
We ran the same profiles, both full of ballast and then empty with "buggy" wings. The
Discus absolutely trounced the DG-300 in all areas tested. The next morning, I called
Klaus Holighaus and accepted his kind offer to build me my own Discus-b (S/N #50) in
time for the upcoming WGC. IIRC, KS was the USA Schleicher dealer at the time, and when
Karl unboxed the Discus, we found a bottle of champagne left in the cockpit for him by
Klaus. Those were very good times.
