• Gear/brake parts for Jantar 3 / factory contact

From Mike Pollard@21:1/5 to All on Tue Mar 14 09:02:13 2023
I've since removed the wheel and brake assy from my Jantar 3. There is now damage. I'll be needing some new parts.

I put together a list of part numbers and emailed the factory at [email protected]
for a quote. Been 9 days now, with a reminder in the middle of that time period. No response at all.

Anyone know a way to break thru this barrier? Any other Jantar parts distributor that I could contact for this? No fix/no fly.

    Thanks,
    Mike Pollard

It would be worthwhile for all SZD owners in North America to make the point to the factory that having a dealer in North America would improve support for their customers, when they are ordering things from the factory. One of the reasons I bought a 55
was that support (and I would not have without it).

By contrast, the factory support for Avionic trailers remains excellent in Canada.

    Cheers
    Dan

    Robert,

Thanks. Was about to do that this morning when I noticed that I had just received an email from them. They said they are working on it and need a picture from me of something. So that's good news. Hate to think I bought a glider that I could never
fly. Hopefully they'll stay on it.
