We usually buy them from Wintek.Our gliding club has gone thru a few nylon socks which only survived less than a year on the prairies. I did some research and found that the winsocks being sold are made from nylon, vinyl, or canvas.
Which material do you use? Who do you buy them from?

. FAA AC 150-5345-27F-Wind-Cone says "No lettering or logos are allowed on the windsock".
So, I guess this one is probably not allowed, although it DOES provide important information:
