Our Soaring Society of America National Convention is at the Atlantis Resort Hotel south of downtown Reno, Nevada. Feb 21 and 22 attend the FAA approved glider focused Flight Instructor Refresher Course (FIRC) to renew your CFI-G. (CFI's expire every 24
months.) Registration required and CFI "Wannabes' are welcome to register for the course.
On Feb 22 (Wednesday at 6:00 PM) attend the free Soaring Safety Foundation (SSF) seminar (I’ll be speaking along with my colleagues) in the Atlantis Resort ballroom. Counts for 3 WINGS credits (up from 1 credit) from the FAA FAASTeam program.
Find dozens of sailplanes and soaring equipment vendors in the adjacent Reno-Sparks convention center display hall.
Join us for the excellent variety of seminars, a Vintage and Oldtimers luncheon and see the restored 1938 Minimoa on the convention hall floor. Stop by the Vintage Sailplane Association booth or the Women's Soaring Pilots booth in the Convention Hall
for a fun time with kindred spirits.

The Soaring Society of America Awards Banquet will be in the Atlantis Hotel at 6:00 PM. Tickets required.
