I am not a frequent Amazon.com shopper but I just found out about 'Amazon Smiles'. It is a program in which Amazon donates 0.5% of your purchase price to a charity of your choice at no cost to you. The SSA is on their list, so shop away and support!
Get your kids and friends to sign up, too.

As a followup, I just received an email from Amazon that they are discontinuing their "smile.Amazon" donations as they have been doing it. They will donate to some causes, per their email, but SSA is no longer one of them.

Bummer!! We started this over a year ago and had a growing number of TuSC members signed up for Smile proceeds to go toward our 501c3 non-profit club.

If your club is registered as a qualified charity, there may be other untapped fund raising opportunities to take advantage of. For example, the company I retired from (Intel corp) has a generous program that pays qualified non-profits for their retiree'
s volunteer time and travel costs. In 2022, Intel contributed ~$2500 to TuSC just for my club volunteer efforts alone. Intel also matches up to $10K per year, per retiree in donations. We just had to get the club on the approved charities list they
maintain (was easy with our youth education, vets and disabilities support charter). It's worth canvassing your members to look for often-overlooked funding opportunities like these.
