The Soaring Society of America is pleased to announce the continuation of the scholarship program for new CFI-Gs. This successful program was begun in 2019 with generous donations from John Weber and others. It is being continued with additional funding
from donors and the SSA. The goal is to grow the sport through stronger clubs with enthusiastic flight instruction and training programs. The SSA hopes these scholarships will provide an incentive to individuals who might otherwise not begin their CFI-G
training, or are unlikely to complete their current CFI-G training for financial reasons. Interested clubs which are SSA Chapters are encouraged to submit applicants who are likely to become active and effective instructors in their club.
