BOOM now says they'll have the world's first supersonic glider by 2028.

Ticket prices have dropped from an outrageous $100 down to a more
    reasonable $50.

United has revised their "Supersonic is Here!" advertising campaign to
"We're Starting to Get a Bit Nervous".

One of the glider pilots working on this thing has been promoted to CEO,
as the current one intends to spend more time with his family.

Kinsell, you should pay attention to OBTP, I told you guys that those motorglider pilots were all screwed up. Old Bob, The Purist

I'm confused Eric. You do hundreds of postings responding to the
jackass in Florida, and you object to something that actually has to do
    with soaring??

How is a supersonic airliner related to soaring?

You are missing the sarcasm. Rolls Royce has pulled out of the BOOM project, leaving it engineless. Therefore, suitable for Pawnee tows behind OBTP.

That's understandable. Eric is of the mindset that gliders aren't real
gliders unless they have engines, which obviously leaves out Boom.

He may also be unaware of the involvement of several Colorado glider
pilots in the project, which brought their love of carbon fiber into the design. It's probably good they don't have engines, cause if they went
    really fast it would melt.

Glider pilots, golfers, hikers on an airliner project - still NOT soaring, golfing, or
    hiking.
