I had one of those a long time ago and it makes removing the instrument panel much

Can anyone comment on the quality/reliability of the Winter 5-Way tubing connector?
Thanks - Curt
Wil Schuemann's recommendation (a long time ago) was to use some light grease or vaseline
on the male end of barbed connections to help ensure against eventual micro-leaks due to
age-related tubing hardening. Similar thinking for o-ring-based connections?
Wil was meticulous and likely took a far more science-based approach to things than most
of us...
I use silicone tubing for the instruments: never hardens, installs/removes easily, doesn't
kink as much, and stays in place on the barb. There might be colors available, but I just
use translucent white - it's common.
