I suggest you start immediately, using something like Word to make one with a simple
format. Publish it by exporting your Word document as a PDF, deliver it by attachment to
an email that's sent to the club's address list, and use BCC for the addresses. You'll
impress people with your knowledge and initiative, and that will help you with Part 2.
And it's the hard part: getting other club members to contribute content. A document that
helps you with that will be much more useful than apps or software, but maybe successful
newsletter producers can tell you what works for them.
