    Cool that this is happening. Who at the SSA is in charge of this? I
    have some questions/issues, but there is no obvious portal for this at
    the SSA.

    You can get lots of information on the SSA-WeGlide arrangement at:

    www.ssa.org/weglide/

    You will find instructions there on how to activate your no-charge Supporter membership. Be sure to provide feedback to SSA telling us what you think about WeGlide after you have used it, since this is a six-month trial period. The SSA Board will use
    member input to decide whether to extend the program. Andy Blackburn has led this effort and deserves a great deal of credit for his extensive efforts. Comments on WeGlide should go to Andy at [email protected], with a copy to Denise Layton at SSA (

    I already had a WeGlide account, so went to my PROFILE tab at the
    bottom left of the screen. Then clicked on the SETTING gear head on
    the upper left of the profile screen. About half way down this screen
    there is a block titled "SSA ID to activate benefits". Entered my SSA membership number and it appeared to have worked.

    I too have a WeGlide account. However, when I click on the "Profile" tab and then the "Settings" gear, I seen no such block titled "SSA ID". Where else would I find this, and what additional benefits does SSA membership give me over the standard free
    WeGlide account? I really like the ability to view playback of the flight in 3D. Is this part of the benefit. The SSA website is worthless and I can't find the information I'm looking for.

    I found the answer to my question. It only works if you list that you are a member of a US club. Otherwise, you are SOL, even if you are a SSA member. And the 3D flight review works. Thanks WeGlide. Awesome feature.

    The SSA website says you can enter a nearby gliderport if you're not a
    member of a club.

    Go to www.SSA.org/WeGlide where there is a web landing page with specific instructions, FAQs and email addresses for support on a whole range of registration questions. The support path depends on the topic because we are pulling together a number of
    capabilities into a single offering, which takes some doing.

    If it is something more philosophical than technical you can PM me. I’m driving to Uvalde ATM so it might be a day or more.
