• FLARM tracking caution... turn off Naviter before you go home

From Bob Lepp & Associates@21:1/5 to All on Mon Jul 31 16:00:06 2023
    Hi, Been a while.

I recently was made aware that Naviter on your iPhone uses the cell network to log your position as if it was a FLARM device. Very nice. Safe.

But, if you do not exit Naviter and force close it, you are tracked wherever you go.

One person went home form their club and now show at a residential address at ground level.

If you have someone looking for you, do not use Naviter!

BTW the street is Noxxe Kxxk D...e off Hwy 6 near Brock Road

Specifically you mean Naviter's SeeYou Navigator. If you want to use Navigator on the ground without being tracked just switch off the OGN button.

FYI, your OGN track gets automatically deleted after 24 hours.

If the cops are lurking WeGlide on a daily basis to follow you they are really, really good and deserve to catch you. It does, however mess up the OGN live tracks, so a nice tip!
