  • Zeus and EOS audio speed-to-fly

    Can anybody tell me how to set up LX-Navigation's Zeus and EOS so they produce audio speed-to-fly ?
    The couple of hundred pages of user manual have not been helpful.

    Hi Mike,

    Ignore the Zeus for Vario/SC switching - it's all in the EOS.

    The procedure for switching between SC and Vario is contained in the manual here :

    Basically you can configure to switch automatically at a certain speed, manually via a switch connected to the input port on the back of the EOS, or When the vario detects that you have either started to circle in a thermal or have left a thermal.

    Note that the volume settings for each mode are indepentent of each other - increasing the volume in vario mode doesn't increase the volume in SC mode. You may find that what you have is actually working, but the volume for SC mode is down.

    Got it now I think.
    Yes, speed-to-fly volume was way down.
