At least once.
I'm wondering if anybody is using one of these gadgets happily?
Any advice?
Thanks in advance,

We have some really hot and humid conditions here if South Florida and at times it becomes very uncomfortable in the cockpit of a Sailplane. I have for years used the following, take a towel and roll it tight and tie off each end. After that soak it very
well in water and make it in the shape where it fits around the back of your neck. At this point try to keep it in that shape and stick it in a freezer for overnight freezing. and when you head to the gliderport stick it in a cooler until you are ready
to fly and place the shape of the towel from the back of the neck toward the front of your neck, you can just stuff or let the two ends hang in the front of your shirt. I also use a small chest pack made of a towel and sewn up in a about an 18 x 18 inch
square and do the same thing, except I stuff that pack in the front of my shoulder straps. These Packs and rolls last quiet a while, provide great comfort on hot wx conditions and can be removed in flight if wanted and stuffed away on either side of the
rear cockpit . My wife, Eileen came up with this idea in about 1979 in Miami. Old Bob, The Purist
