The club glider has a Filser LX 100 variometer; does anyone have the pinout for the DB9 connector? The unit should only require +12 / GND, but I don't know on which pin(s).
Thanks!
In case you have not had an answer yet or have not yet opened your unit:
If you look at the unit from the back you have the two pressure ports on either side and the DB9 in the centre. There should be 4 pins in the top row and 5 in the bottom row. The bottom left pin, pin 5, (left as in your view, not as installed in the
glider) is ground, bottom right, pin 1, is 12V. If you have a repeater the outputs are the centre two pins of the top row. On the repeater the inputs are the extremes of the row with five holes. If you swap wires on the repeater the indication will
be wrong, no damage. Pin 7 on the main unit goes to pin 5 on the repeater, pin 8 on the main unit goes to pin 1 of the repeater.
It is easy to remove the top and bottom cover plates from the main unit and then you can see the connector inside. It is not so easy to open the repeater.
