I've been taking evening classes at a Voc-Tech and asking the few bright
and ambitious students I meet what they think of the others. The answers
are discouraging. If a bill is $14.77 and I give the young clerk a ten,
a five and two pennies they don't know what to do.

Yeah, I grew up in a gas station.
I was making change at age 12.
The employees now are often just lost.
