SHELBY COUNTY � U.S. Marshals have arrested Timmie Cooperwood,
42, for first-degree murder after shooting a woman that�s
allegedly the mother of his children.
On Oct.6, Memphis Police were called to the 2000 block of
Prospect for a shooting, a release stated.
MPD said Shandka Harvell was shot and killed.
Investigators determined Cooperwood was the suspect in this case
and a warrant was issued Oct.9.
Officials found him at a home in St. Cloud, Minnesota and took
him into custody.

In addition to first-degree murder, Cooperwood was also wanted
for Aggravated Assault, Convicted Fugitive in Possession of a
Handgun, Aggravated Stalking, Employing a Firearm with intent to
commit a Felony, and Aggravated Burglary, according to a release.
�Timmie Cooperwood was able to avoid arrest for close to three
months,� said U.S. Marshal Tyreece Miller. �I�m pleased that the
Marshals Service was able to close this fugitive case before the
year came to an end.�
