    It's very difficult to see how this decision, the one to not even investigate, is consistent with the principle of allowing racing room.

    Makes you wonder whether Verstappen would have got a penalty if
    Hamilton had not avoided him.


    Well, he would have maintained his WDC lead at the same level, for that
    race at least .

    Hamilton did in Brazil what Verstappen *should* have done at Silverstone.

    Hamilton did in Brazil what Verstappen *should* have done at Silverstone.


    And in both cases it should still have been a penalty for the driver on
    the inside for failure to leave room.

    Except there's no consistency in F1. What's allowed in one race may not be in another.
