    Spots that are now available for others to jump into. They don't have
    to just write off part of the square-inchage as a loss. The contract
    almost certainly (as it's basically boilerplate now) has an "ipso facto"
    clause that invalidates it upon bankruptcy.

    Even fully regulated crypto? The technology is sound, it's the way that
    it's operated - particularly these side markets - that makes it so
    opaque.

    I accept that most will resist regulation as that was the driving force
    behind the initial crypto currencies, but it's not intrinsically less
    safe than other currencies and, appropriately set up, it *can* be as
    safe.

    So, I don't agree with your comment if you mean that they can *never* be
    as secure.
