F1 one has become a joke, an entertainment for Netflix first. I guess by
not recognizing it, you were never a true fan that understands the
    sporting part of formula 1.

F1 without being entertaining withers and dies.

But your implication that there was something funny going on is a joke.

Children will be children; what's your excuse?

You threw you toys out of the pram, yet again, without reason but
almost certainly because Lewis was both unlucky and made a poor
    decision on Sunday.

I refer you to my previous comment.

If you think you can grow up for ten seconds and make a case for your
sulky nonsense take the opportunity and do so.

My bet is that you can't and won't; prove me right or prove me wrong.

Yes, because AT saying they are independent right before Horner makes
drivers decision for them is legit. Get real...

Never lose a child inside you. If you do, you are already dead.

You threw you toys out of the pram, yet again, without reason but

Win some, lose some. My problem is with Red Bull bossing everyone
around, and F1 submitting to them because they have a brand and money,
also currently best car and a driver on par with Lewis.

F1 without being entertaining withers and dies.

But your implication that there was something funny going on is a joke.

    Two points.

On entertainment, it's true that you have to maintain, retain and
(ideally) build an audience to prosper, but it has to be done "right".
To take an extreme (and I'm not suggesting it's heading this way) you
look at US wrestling that went from a sport to an undisguised scripted
drama over many years. So long as it remains a sport *or* openly
embraces and recognises that change, it's not dishonest. In some of the decisions over the years, there has been an element of disguising
artificial interventions. At least when Bernie suggested sprinklers he
open made it clear he wanted to spice things up artificially.

On something funny going on, you need to justify why it's a joke. Twenty
years ago, I'd have tended to agree. On this particular case, I don't
think the conspiracy theories add up*, but I don't dismiss these things
as easily. I think that ever since the Singpore GP in 2008 was revealed
to have been meddled with, you can't just ignore the possibility. No-one
at that time even considered (as I recall) that someone would crash deliberately. In fact, if it wasn't for Piquet blowing the whistle, it
most likely would have remained accepted as accidental. As soon as there
is big money (and F1 has enormous sums at stake), strange things happen.

    * Personally, I don't see the point given the dominance of Red Bull and Verstappen right now. There just isn't the incentive even if they were
willing, and I don't think it's their style**. On the other hand,
something very odd (and bad) happened with AlphaTauri. Stopping once was
bad enough, but the whole sequence was incompetent and the team needs
talking to (which I assume has happened).

** I have little time for either Horner or Marko and the way that they
play the media games, but this is not their style. I think they will try
lots of tricks with the car design, operation or how they interact with
the FIA...but I don't think either is the type to create a situation
that could have created dangerous driving conditions for points they do
    not need.

    Bullshit.

    You threw your toys after the race. It had only to do with one thing;
you being butthurt because your hero lost... which had nothing to do
    with your excuses above.
