That Merc gave Hamilton such a relatively slow car is certainly the
biggest letdown of the '22 season. Most people were looking forward
to an epic battle between him and Max to prove that '21 was a fluke

Everything I read pointed to "most people", capable of a non-partisan comment, accepting that both drivers had done enough to be worthy of
the title even if many believe it was wrongly decided.
