    It is a very odd circuit.
    When Jack Brabham debuted his Cooper Climax, locals were impressed by his then amazing cornering speed of 140mph, --- but equally puzzled by is straight line speed: 140mph.

    I watched a few mins of the first qualifying session and it was all
    about how little could be scrubbed off in the less straight bits; not
    even a lift required.



    250 KIAS or less, below 10,000 feet MSL.
