    In my wandering around the internet, I was looking for information about
    (on this particular occasion) how much the center of pressure of the
    tire's contact patch moved laterally while cornering...

    The author is an "Emeritus Professor of Transport Management" with an
    original degree in civil engineering, but he clearly has a deep interest
    and understanding about the vehicle dynamics of cars (and trains, and
    ships, and aircraft).

    In general, for a geeky gearhead, a really good read.
